Haxtun is a bustling little town that prides itself on meeting the needs of the community and its people. Haxtun is located on the beautiful high plains agricultural area of northeastern Colorado. Some Haxtun area families continue to own farm land homesteaded by their relatives more than 100 years ago. Called a "Small City with a Big Heart," Haxtun is small, friendly and community centered.
