About Us
Colorado Provider Recruitment (CPR) was created in July 2001 by the Colorado Rural Recruitment and Retention Network (CoRRRN). CoRRRN is a statewide network of organizations created in 1996 to identify, track and address primary care workforce shortages in rural Colorado. CPR is a nonprofit recruitment program administered by the Colorado Rural Health Center, Colorado’s State Office of Rural Health. CPR helps communities recruit and retain dedicated and qualified healthcare providers who are committed to practicing in rural and urban underserved areas. CPR is supported by grants from various foundations and private donations including the Colorado Health Foundation, The Colorado Trust and Caring for Colorado.
